Maran Tankers shares the benefits of fleet-wide TELSCOPE implementation

Following the successful fleet-wide implementation of TELSCOPE, Maran Tankers is now sharing the operational benefits experienced from adopting electronic record books across its fleet.

The rollout covers approximately 50 vessels currently in operation and 12 newbuildings, making it one of the largest TELSCOPE implementations within the merchant tanker segment. The project has been delivered through the close cooperation between TELKO and Furuno Hellas, supporting Maran Tankers’ continued focus on digitalisation, compliance and operational efficiency.

During the implementation, TELSCOPE has helped simplify daily record keeping by replacing traditional paper logbooks with a modern electronic solution. With automated data capture, digital workflows and secure ship-to-shore synchronisation, both onboard crews and shore personnel gain access to accurate information in real time.

The project demonstrates how electronic record books can reduce administrative workload while improving consistency, transparency and regulatory compliance across an entire fleet.
